KATIE AGNEW
Registered Osteopath
Katie is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, yoga teacher, and proud mum. Originally from the UK, she began her career in the corporate world before trading her Blackberry (it was 2010, after all!) for yoga pants and embracing a more holistic path. It was during her yoga teacher training that she discovered a fascination with the complexity and interconnectedness of the human body—a passion that ultimately led her to osteopathy.
After a decade of adventure, including time living in British Columbia and New Zealand, Katie now proudly calls Dundas home. She is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathy and is passionate about helping people move, feel, and live better.
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on form of manual therapy that looks beyond symptoms to identify and address the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction. Katie believes every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. She strives to create a welcoming, calming environment where patients can relax, ask questions, and feel confident in their care.
As a new mum, Katie has developed a special interest in caring for prenatal and postpartum patients, as well as infants and young children. She has completed advanced pediatric training in both Canada and the UK and is committed to ongoing professional development. Katie is currently undertaking advanced physiotherapy-based pelvic health training and certification in manual lymphatic drainage, allowing her to combine the principles of osteopathy with the latest evidence-informed approaches to provide comprehensive, individualized care.
Katie’s rigorous osteopathic education has equipped her to assess and treat people of all ages and backgrounds. Your first appointment will include a thorough health history, a comprehensive assessment, and plenty of time to discuss your goals and concerns so that your treatment plan is tailored specifically to you.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Katie at Pilates, searching for the perfect croissant, or enjoying story time at the library with her son, Elliott.
