What Happens in a Treatment?

Each session begins with a brief consultation, followed by a postural and mobility assessment to identify any compensations created by the surgery. Treatment then focuses on hands-on manual techniques to release fascial adhesions and scar tissue restrictions — freeing up movement in the abdomen, pelvis, and surrounding tissues. This service is billed as a Massage Therapy Treatment and covered by most insurance plans.

When appropriate, Nicole also uses the Dolphin Neurostim to enhance results.

What Is the Dolphin Neurostim?

​

Think of your body like an electrical system. When you have surgery, scar tissue can act like a kink in the wire — blocking signals and keeping the surrounding muscles and fascia stuck.

The Dolphin Neurostim sends tiny, painless electrical pulses (much gentler than a TENS machine) into specific points along and around the scar. These micro-impulses work to "repolarize" the scar tissue, releasing the fascia and muscles that have become trapped by it. It also signals your nervous system to calm down, relax tight muscles, and ease nerve compression and fascial tension.
