Megan Abbott (she/her) is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from McMaster University with her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy degree in 2012.  Megan also received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from McMaster University in 2010. 

 

Megan continues to update her education and has completed additional training courses in acupuncture, K-Taping, vestibular therapy and McKenzie method. Megan has also completed Levels 1-3 through Pelvic Health solutions, in addition to courses on Labour & Delivery support, Cesarean birth recovery and Pelvic Girdle Pain. 

 

Megan’s treatment approach combines client-centred education, manual therapy, exercise prescription and self-management strategies to help clients meet their goals. 

 

When not at work, Megan enjoys being outdoors with her young family, running with her dog and playing soccer.
