Lindsey brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her private practice. She began her career as a high school special education teacher. After 10 years of international teaching experience, she received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) with a focus in evidence-based mental health practice with children, adolescents and families.
She’s worked at the Hospital for Sick Children and as an Emergency Department social worker. In addition, Lindsey worked as a dating coach. She counseled adults on topics of dating, online communication and relationships. Lindsey brings all these skills, strategies and experience to her practice.
In Lindsey’s clinical work, she supports children, tweens, teens and families as well as individual adults. She provides a safe, non-judgmental, space to discuss and work through whatever issues they may be facing. Collaboratively, you and Lindsey will create goals to meet your specific needs.
Through therapy, clients have built self-confidence, communication skills, coping skills, motivation and parenting skills. Lindsey has supported individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, questions around sexuality, shame, grief, bereavement and loss, infertility, perinatal and postnatal depression/anxiety and life transitions.
