DEANA MERCIER
Registered Physiotherapist, BSc. Kin, MSc. PT
Living an active lifestyle, Deana is a strong believer in maintaining a healthy body and mind, and has always been passionate about supporting others to achieve the same.
After being a personal trainer for a number of years Deana graduated from the Physiotherapy program at McMaster University in 2000. Her areas of focus are in Neurological, Orthopaedic and Pelvic Health. She provides treatment to children with various neurological, orthopaedic and motor delays and women with pelvic health issues.
Deana has a special interest in Pelvic Health physiotherapy and feels honoured to be a part of a women’s journey to healing, health and wellness. She has taken many additional Pelvic Health physiotherapy courses to improve her knowledge and skill level.
Deana continues to explore ways that she can expand her knowledge and learn new techniques which has led her to training in pelvic health, myofascial and manual therapy, and Kinesio taping.
In her spare time, Deana is an avid mountain road cyclist, (you may see her grinding up Sydenham hill). She also enjoys running, skiing, hiking with friends, yoga, and competitive tennis.
